| This should probably be in tech I guess. This is happening with my 90' Z. Not sure about my 93' Z, haven't checked yet because there is no battery in it at the moment. When I have the battery disconnected and then connect it I hear a solenoid sound in the passenger side door. It's just a faint momentary clunk. Looking at the FSM, I see there is a "posistor", as they call it in the manual, that is in-line with the door lock motor. It's described as a thermal circuit breaker. The sound never caught my attention before. I assume it may be the sound of the power lock solenoid's operation being released after the thermal breaker opens. If anyone knows or could check their Z for me I would appreciate it. I just want to make sure that hearing this sound when reconnecting the battery is normal and that there isn't some sort of a short or something that needs checking out. I don't feel like pulling my door panel off again, arg!!. Thanks!
